Diversities in Vedic practices resulted into a religion known as ‘Hindu Religion’. Experts may differ with this crude generalisation, but, it was a cornerstone for the propounders of Ram Rajya in their quest of establishing an Organised Religion in India.
Due to multitudes of temples, with multiplicity in professing faith, seeking establishment to a ubiquitous ‘God-Organisation’ was a Political odd ball experienced by the forefathers of the Idea of Ram Rajya.
The ideation of this organisational faith enterprise came out of study visits to Europe, that the founders took during the British period. Awestricken and overwhelmed by the majestically formal/ organised Christianity or the empire of Christ of The Holy Sea, embedded a belief within them for achieving the same organised and structured religion in our society as well, which took the form of Ram Rajya and hence the Ram Janambhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
The notion of a organised hierarchy in religion formulates further into a monolithic institution- A Church, aided with the symbols and instrument of faith, easy enough to comprehend and propagate to proliferate. A European style Church, a Cross and a Bible were missing in the Hindu traditions due to its unorganised and informal varieties in practice.
This was found to be the root cause for diversity in the faith profession and hence impossible to mass manipulation. Also, it was firmly seen as a ‘fault in the society’ by the observers. Therefore, we see an aggressive institutionalisation of the Temple, Baby Lord Ram and Ramcharitmans.
